CISA was in attendance at the 60th annual meeting of the American Hygiene and Tropical Medicine Society, held in Philadelphia in the United States between the 4th and 8th December 2011.
A poster detailing the results of the 2010 survey of the prevailing incidence of malaria, schistosomiasis, anaemia and malnutrition was presented by a participant in the aforementioned study, the Luso-Angolan researcher José Figueiredo (MHN/LSTM).
