CISA – the Health Research Centre of Angola is a public institution under the auspices of the Ministry of Health founded with the following mission:

• to carry out and promote healthcare research taking into consideration the needs and priorities of Angola, 
• to support national empowerment and building up national human resource capacities in the field of health research 
• to foster the improvement in quality of healthcare services provided to the population
