The leader of CISA, Jocelyne Vasconcelos, presented her project focused on the application of integrated genomic and epidemiologic approaches with mathematic modelling to strengthen the preparation for responses to public health emergencies in Angola at Imperial College London (The School of Public Health), where she is a doctoral degree student.
This interactive session took place on 11 June with the presentation of works by research specialists, doctoral degree students and alumni from various fields of knowledge, ranging from economics to aeronautics, passing by healthcare.
In attendance at this session were the United Kingdom Secretary of State for Education, Nadhim Zahawi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal, João Gomes Cravinho, and the President of Imperial College, Alice Gast, and Vice-president, Maggie Dallman.
