Getting to know project’s in the field and discovering how a CPLP – the Portuguese Language Commonwealth – foundation actually does intervene in partnership with other actors in the field of development and cooperation constituted some of the objectives behind a visit to CISA – the Health Research Centre of Angola, within the scope of the 10th meeting of CPLP Foundations with representatives from Angola, Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau and Sao Tome and Principe.

This meeting, which took place in Luanda, approached the theme of "Sustainable Development in the CPLP: which targets post-2015". CISA results from a partnership between the Angolan Government, Portuguese Aid and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and was set the mission of carrying out health based research taking into account the priorities and needs of Angola.

This visit counted upon the attendance of around 80 representatives from Portuguese language foundations and provincial governments.
