CISA was in attendance at the seminar on the continuous training of healthcare human resources that took place at the Portuguese Cultural Centre Auditorium in Luanda. The CISA contribution was made by the centre's research coordinator, Miguel Brito, who highlighted the role played by CISA in the continuous training of healthcare professionals at Bengo General Hospital.

The objective of this seminar was to exchange experiences and identify best practices in the strategies and approaches to the continuous training of healthcare human resources in different contexts and thereby opening up the discussion and the sharing of technical and political program policy recommendations. In turn, these suggestions and proposals are to feature in the CAPSA Report on Healthcare Policies in Angola, specifically focusing on the theme of continuous healthcare human resource training and due for subsequent publication.
