In partnership with the Bengo General Hospital management team, CISA held a training course in parasitology laboratory diagnosis and analysis. Some of the intestinal and urinary parasitoses causing serious public health problems are endemic across Bengo Province and particularly in the region surrounding the city of Caxito. The main objective of this training program involves raising the quality of the diagnosis of these pathogenic agents and correspondingly serving laboratory technical specialists. The four-day training program began on August 5th 2013.
