Between February 22nd and 24th, the CISA team returned to the Cabungo neighbourhood and the Porto Quipiri School to hand out the parasitological analysis results on the prevalence of Schistosomiasis in faeces and urine samples. The visit also served to raise awareness among the children, their parents and teachers about the preventive measures against this infection type, especially the washing of hands, usage of latrines and disinfecting drinking water through the showing of a film on these themes.
