The CISA Project ran a training course between December 3rd and 5th 2012, open to laboratory technicians from different hospitals in Angola, designed to raise the standard of malaria diagnosis through recourse to optical microscopes by enabling better sample preparation and raising awareness about the specific characteristics of diagnosis.
This training program took place under the auspices of the CISA research project on the quality of laboratory based malaria diagnosis and counted on the participation of the paediatric services of Bengo District Hospital, Benguela General Hospital and the David Bernardino Paediatric Hospital.
