With the core objective of both evaluating the current state of CISA Project progress and plan its future, delegations from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and CICL - the Camões Institute for Cooperation and Language visited Angola between January 30th and 2nd February.

On 1st February, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation delegation, represented by Isabel Mota, Director, Maria Hermínia Cabral, Gulbenkian Development Aid Program Director, and Margarida Abecasis, the Gulbenkian Grant Service Director, and the CICL Delegation, made up of Francisco Almeida Leite, Board Member, and Paula Barros, Cooperation Service Director accompanied by Teresa Mateus, from the Embassy of Portugal in Angola, visited the CISA Project in Caxito before touring the Cabungo neighbourhood, the location of the pilot study for the "Effectiveness of controlling Schistosomiasis in children aged between two and fifteen in Bengo Province, Angola" project, which took place between 10th and 18th December 2012.

This visit also served to undertake further contacts with the Angolan authorities within the framework of the ongoing cooperation and development activities.
