The CISA Project was in attendance at the 4th Portuguese Demography Congress, which took place at the University of Évora on the 12th and 13th September 2012.
Within the framework of the panel approaching the theme of "Gathering census and non-census data", the Demographic Surveillance System for healthcare research was presented. This explanation of the system's implementation in Angola was accompanied by photographs conveying the different phases in this process with the objective of defining this field of study for an audience of demographers and other researchers commonly working in contexts and realities different to those prevailing in Africa generally and Angola in particular
