Three CISA researchers participated in the 11th INDEPTH (International Network for the continuous Demographic Evaluation of Populations and Their Health) Scientific Conference where they presented a poster on the work carried out within the framework of a Verbal Autopsy System: Implementation of a Verbal Autopsy System in Bengo (Angola). Study of deaths of children under 15 years old.

INDEPTH is an international network of members carrying out longitudinal demographic and health studies on populations, especially those in developing countries.

The Scientific Conference attracted around 300 researchers from 42 different research centres, with the majority from Africa and Asia and took place in Maputo, Mozambique, between 24th and 27th October 2011.
