CISA ran a training program on intestinal parasites for clinical analysis students at the EFTSB – the Health Technician Training School of Bengo.
The course attracted around 60 students and involved practical training with microscopic observation of positive samples of intestinal parasites collected within the scope of the project entitled: "Comparative study of diagnostic techniques for Strongyloides stercoralis in feces: Direct examination, formalin-ether concentration examination, Harada Mori and PCR" (study carried out in the same school in November and December 2016).
The training program included three presentations: on intestinal parasites and on presenting the project and its preliminary study data results.
