Francis Kassola, Henrique Barros, Henrique Silveira, Sanjeev Krishna and Tânia Lourenço sit on the CISA scientific council that held its first ever meeting at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. This first meeting saw the selection of Sanjeev Krishna by his peers to serve as president.  

This first meeting was also attended by the CISA director Moisés Francisco and the scientific coordinator Miguel Brito with discussion focusing upon the guidelines for the CISA scientific strategies.
