CISA participated in the meeting on demography staged by the Geo-Demography degree program of the Faculty of Social Sciences at UAN – the Agostinho Neto University. The overall meeting approached the theme of Reproductive and Sexual Health, the subject chosen by the United Nations to commemorate World Population Day 2016.

The CISA contribution consisted of a lecture on the “Importance of access to reproductive healthcare” including a discussion of some of the key indicators at the international level and within the framework of the statistics recorded in Angola. The presentation was followed by a debate on this theme with participation by students and lecturers from UAN alongside CISA members of staff involved in its demographic surveillance system.
