A delegation from the multinational BP (British Petroleum) visited CISA during the month of October.

CISA participated in the 5th Science Days of the Katyavala Bwila University’s Faculty of Medicine, in Benguela.

"Health, a right for everybody" was the theme of the first ever Bengo General Hospital Science Days.

The ‘study of filariasis in Bengo province’ was launched in January 2014 and returns to the field of study through to the end of September.

CISA is engaged in the project “Effectiveness of a dietary based consumption intervention on the nutritional status and micro-nutritional deficiency in children aged less than five years of age”. 

On 11th July, World Population Day, CISA staged an information session on the theme of “The world population, key challenges. The demographic and epidemiological transition”.

The results of the study into the causal factors for diarrhoea in children aged under five were presented this week at Bengo General Hospital (BGH).

CISA was in attendance at the seminar on the continuous training of healthcare human resources that took place at the Portuguese Cultural Centre Auditorium in Luanda.

CISA made its contribution to the “Micronutrient Forum Global Conference 2014 - Bridging Discovery and Delivery”, which took place between June 2nd and 6th in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
